Pentecost Season: Sunday, June 29, Rev. Ruth Lemmen will preach from Galatians 5:1, 13-25 in the large sanctuary. Pastor Ivan Akansiima will preach from Galatians 5:13-25 in the All Nations Worship Service in Room 4.
A lifelong Christian, Ivan Akansiima came to the U.S. from Jinja, Uganda, where he was active in music ministry, to earn a B.A. in Music (Hope College) and M.A. in Jazz Studies (Western Michigan University). He is a recent graduate of Western Theological Seminary, with an M.A. in Christian Studies, and he served his pastoral internship at Pillar Church in Holland.
